About this product
The Srixon ZX5 Forged Iron Set is a 9-piece iron set for men, right-handed, with graphite shafts and a youth flex. The set includes irons and wedges, and is designed for junior or ladies sizes. The clubs feature a silver color and standard lie angle. This set is from Srixon's ZX5 line, known for forged construction, and is priced in the premium tier.
Our take
From a budget-eye perspective, this set commands a premium price, but it delivers forged irons that typically offer superior feel and control. The youth flex graphite shafts are lighter and more flexible, making them suitable for juniors or ladies with slower swing speeds. However, the set includes only 9 clubs, which may leave gaps in the bag compared to a full set. The standard lie angle might not fit all players, and custom fitting could be an additional cost. This set is best for a junior or lady golfer who values the feel of forged irons and is willing to invest in quality, but those on a strict budget might find the price hard to justify.
